The kitchen, a modern extension with wonderful views across the loch, is well-equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, dish washer and radio.
The cottage has Wi-Fi Internet connection supplied via a neighbouring village. The connection can sometimes fail in bad weather but on the whole is largely reliable. The best connection is in the living room.
There are two double bedrooms, one being twin bedded, as well as a child’s bedroom. Bed linen is provided but please bring your own towels.
The comfortable sitting room has an open log fire, guidebooks, maps & games. Off the front porch, the old Post Office room is now a peaceful library with a fine selection of books.
There is a shower room on the ground floor. A washing machine and dryer are located in the toolshed.
There is oil-fired central heating throughout the cottage which ensures warmth throughout the year.
